Our community has come together to make homeownership opportunities a reality for more than 35 years, and you can help bring our next affordable housing development to life. Cliffview Heights will bring 16 families together in a new Habitat neighborhood in Sioux Falls. Not only will it provide safe, stable homes, but it can be a place where families build relationships and children grow up surrounded by community.
Our goal is to raise $95,000 by January 16. Your gift will help us lay the foundations for the first homes in Cliffview Heights and start building another amazing community of Habitat homebuyers.

Breaking Ground
We were blessed to be joined by many members of the community for the groundbreaking of Cliffview Heights on August 11. Throughout the ceremony, leaders talked about the importance of collaboration and the community coming together to make developments like Cliffview Heights possible.
Habitat Board President Cindy Newman put it best when she said, “Remember every nail driven, every hour volunteered, every dollar donated, helps create something much larger than just a house. It creates a foundation for a stronger future.”

Dalonda’s Story
Dalonda and her daughters found their home in Habitat’s first affordable housing development, Millard Acres, where neighbors have built more than each other’s homes.
Dalonda shared, “Owning a home that I helped build and can afford is a feeling that is hard to put into words. I feel such a sense of accomplishment, and I’m especially proud to have shown my children what is possible when you set your mind to something and work hard to achieve it. Our home was built alongside members of the community, and through that experience, we’ve become more than just homeowners. We’ve become part of the Millard Acres community. We’ve found a place where we belong, where we feel connected, and where we can continue to grow together. This is more than a house; it’s our home, and we are home.”
