Help ReStore Hope
The ReStore raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to support Habitat builds and home repairs that improve the lives of our neighbors here in Greater Sioux Falls. However, our store could not run without the help of amazing volunteers like you. Check out our available volunteer opportunities to find the right fit for you!
Individual Opportunity
Volunteer as a Cashier
Be the friendly face customers see when they walk into the ReStore! No heavy lifting or strenuous activity is required. Plus, you’ll be sitting comfortably inside our climate-controlled store. Choose a three-hour shift to work once a week or once a month. Seasonal help is also welcome!
Tasks include:
• Assisting customers with transactions
• Answering the ReStore phone
• Greeting and thanking customers
Requirements:
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must pass a background check.
Individual or Group Opportunity
Volunteer as a Stockroom Assistant
Help our ReStore team prepare merchandise for sale or organize items on our sales floor. Volunteer hours are very flexible, so come for an hour or stay the whole day!
Tasks can include:
• Cutting carpet
• Assembling lights
• Organizing doors, trim and other donations
• And more!
Age Restriction: You must be at least 14 years old to volunteer as a ReStore stockroom assistant. Minors are required to obtain parental or guardian consent.
