Deconstruction
Volunteer on Deconstruction
Help take donated, reusable building materials out of homes and buildings under renovation. All the materials will be sold in our ReStore, raising money for local families to improve their housing situations through affordable homeownership and home repairs. No prior experience is necessary! Our deconstruction lead will guide you through the process.
Tasks can include:
• Window & door removal
• Cabinet removal
• Furniture removal
• Trailer loading
Age restriction: You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer on deconstruction and at least 18 years old to use power tools on site. Minors are required to obtain parental or guardian consent.

Interested in volunteering on a deconstruction project? Projects are typically scheduled about 1-2 weeks in advance, which is why the sign up may not have any projects currently listed. When you fill out this interest form, you’ll join our deconstruction volunteer contact list and be notified when new projects are in need of volunteers.
