New Neighborhood Development Announced for Northeast Sioux Falls

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sioux Falls and the City of Sioux Falls are partnering on a new affordable housing development in the Norton neighborhood of northeast Sioux Falls. Through this partnership, Habitat will construct 26 twin homes for families who meet eligibility guidelines.

The City Council approved the project on Tuesday, March 3, which will include a new low-impact design to be more environmentally conscious. Infrastructure construction is expected to begin in fall 2020 and home construction in spring 2021.

Applications for the homeownership program will be accepted in April 2020. Habitat is holding public meetings in March for interested applicants.
