About Habitat

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sioux Falls builds and preserves homes with people in need who might not have a secure, safe home another way. We have built or rehabilitated 130 homes since our inception in 1989, helping 197 adults and 506 children! We have completed 89 critical home repairs, as a part of the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, since 2011.

Studies show owning a safe, affordable home impacts the health of the family members, improves children’s grades, and leads to more successful long-term goals and dreams, as well as broadens the tax base in a community. Learn More
